G-Force is a charity and raises all the funds required for its ongoing work. We're an organisation that has a reputation for putting the community first, the ideal partner for any socially minded business in Trafford and Greater Manchester. What we do is for the children, younger and older people in Timperley and the surrounding communities.

Our open-door policy and holistic approach ensures our service is available when our community needs us. Working with families and individuals we offer crisis support directly, or as a partner in a multi-agency setting, providing much needed breaks away or arranging alternative accommodation during particularly difficult times. Our service is available 24/7. It's not just on the ground services, we also work with many other agencies for the greater gain of our community.
WORKING WITH LOCAL GROUPS
The G-Force support network helps promote and develop the services of local groups, providing crucial on the ground knowledge or drawing in extra support from other agencies. Our minibus is also available to local groups, providing a valuable resource and bringing a real benefit to those who use it. If you have any worries we are here to help, we distribute food vouchers, toys at Christmas and can refer you for debt counselling.
PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
We offer a programme of adult educational opportunities at G-Force, such as computer training and food hygiene courses, we have big ambitions to expand our training programme and utilise facilities at our cafe on the Broomwood Estate. We also provide assistance with life skills, such as registering to vote or advice on opening a Credit Union account, debt management or rent arrears.
ARTS AND CRAFTS
Regular arts and craft sessions help support our elderly in sheltered housing and community housing in the area. As many of the elderly living in these homes don't get much contact with the outside world, G-Force also arranges visits to the garden centre, trips to the coffee shop, or local pub as well as regular visits to theatre productions. These activities enable the elderly to engage with others, have new and fresh conversations and most of all, enjoy themselves. It's not just the elderly who benefit, we also promote art with our 'Brush and Brew' classes and aim to encourage young people and adults alike to engage in crafts to achieve things they never thought possible. Much of the artwork produced is on public display in and around the Timperley and Altrincham areas. Over the years G-Force and our clients have won numerous awards for the quality of their work.
